Job desctiption:

The Ghana Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) Programme is an activity funded by US Presidential Malaria Initiative (PMI) through USAID. This project is aimed at providing technical and logistical assistance to the National Malaria Control Programme and Ghana Health Service/Ministry of Health (MOH), to conduct a malaria prevention programme involving indoor residual spraying.

Stations: East Mamprusi, Savelugu/Nanton, Karaga, Gushegu, West Mamprusi, Saboba, Chereponi, Tolon/Kumugu and Bunkpurungu Yunyoo

Report to the Chief of Party.


Required Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree preferably in Business Management, Health, Environmental science or other related areas with at least six years working experience. Advanced degree with at least 3 years working experience a plus
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to co-ordinate multiple activities with government officials and other key stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and computer skills
  • Advanced proficiency, English and one or more of Ghanaian northern languages skills a plus
