Job Description

CATEGORY: Service Contract
Duration: One year initially (linked to UNFPA 2010 Census Support)
Organisational Unit: UNFPA Country Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager and direct supervision of the Administrative Associate, the incumbent will principally be attached to the office of the UNFPA Chief Technical Advisor – 2010 Census

Drive official vehicles, dispatch and collect mails, documents and other items
Perform airport pick-up duties
Be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicles and ensures that the vehicle is kept clean
Log all trips before and after each completed trip and enter all fuel allocations
Ensure safety and custody of vehicle including tools
Other related duties that would be assigned by the UNFPA country office

Required Skills or Experience

Minimum of JSS
5 years relevant experience
Conversant with road network of Ghana
Knowledge of UN transport management systems and guidelines
